I’ve had an email address at the bottom of my blog ever since it launched, and I’ve never gotten a single email on that account. In fact, if people want to comment on a blog post or ask me a question, they won’t even use the Disqus commenting I’ve set up, they just @reply me on twitter. I’ve realized that I hardly ever use email for actually communicating with people; most of the time I use it to transfer files, or register for a service.

I usually don’t respond to email. I’ve been thinking of adding a thing in my sig just saying: Text me if you know me or Twitter at @sweyn.
