24 hours after jailbreaking

I love my newly jailbroken iPod Touch. It’s like christmas all over again. Here’s a list of my jailbroken apps so far:

AppFlow: Lets you view a list of all the apps installed on the device, and browse them using a coverflow-like interface.

AptBackup: Backup a list of your Cydia apps, in case you ever have to restore to an un-jailbroken state.

Backgrounder: Let’s you run apps in the background. Insanely useful, but can be bothersome if you have too many apps backgrounded at once.

Clippy: A copy and paste add-on. Also insanely useful, and very well done.

Clippy SBSettings Toggle: Puts an on/off switch for Clippy in the SBSettings app

cURL: You should know what that is.

Five Icon Dock: Lets you put five icons in your dock. My fifth is the Cydia app (kind of like a jailbroken app store)

Greek Keyboard: Adds a greek keyboard to the international pane of the settings app. Useful for µ-ing. (There’s also an emoji keyboard)

Instrinctiv Shuffle: A smarter shuffle for the music app. I haven’t had much time to test this.

MakeItMine: Lets you change the carrier text on the status bar.

Mobile Terminal: A mobile version of the mac Terminal app. Be careful with it.

MxTube: A YouTube downloader

Netatalk: Impliments ApplTalk into your iPod or iPhone, so you can access your device’s memory over your network.

Pandora Controls: Replaces every music control with a control for the Pandora app, when the app is running (including headphone clicker control). Also lets you play Pandora in the background.

Podcaster: Like RSSPlayer, but better.

Poof: Dissappears your home screen icons. The app still exists on your device there’s just no icon on the home screen. You can access the app using an app launcher like AppFlow

Rotation Inhibitor: Adds a rotation toggle to the SBSettings app, so you can easily disable app rotation.

SBSettings: The best app in the world. Gives you many advanced settings, and is customizable with toggles like Rotation Inhibitor or brightness controls. You bring up this pane by swiping across the status bar. Very slick.

ScreenSplitr: When used with the DemoGod desktop app, lets you easily record iPhone screencasts.

Searcher: Searches your Safari bookmarks, contacts, ect..

Veency: A VNC server for the iPhone
